The Curren front-side carve is still beyond comparison, the Occy backside hook remains a benchmark and the Kong layback slash continues to be one of the finest examples of self-expression on a surfboard. While their styles were distinctly different, their respective brilliance was indisputable. Together Tom Curren, Mark Occhilupo and Gary Elker- ton changed surfing forever. In this film the once fierce rivals come together as friends, to reflect on past encounters and to let you know that they still rip. Charting the evolution of modern surfing, Instruments of Change also features three young prodigies who are hell-bent on etching their own names into surfing history. Pat Curren [Tom\u2019s son], Keanu Asing and Kalani Ball join Occy, Curren and Kong on a journey that takes you back while simultaneously hurtling you into the future. <\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t
